Tuk's T-Home — Restaurant in Steenwijkerland

It is a great place in the forest where you will enjoy the weather and the natural view with the nice food. I do not have the words to describe the kindness and hospitality of the lady who owns this restaurant. Actually, we couldn't order anything because we didn't have any cash at that time but we asked the kind lady owning the restaurant if she accepts the credit card or USD dollars but unfortunately she didn't accept that for some reasons. But the kind lady insisted on giving us free coffee and did not accept even one dollar.

We loved the place and the owner of the place very much, and we will come again to compensate for the previous time. This lady deserves many thanks and...

Wonderful outdoor seating with great tea. Chickens and a very friendly dog mingle with a playground, the nearby forest or the two goats. Both food and service are great and the selection of teas does the name tea house justice. I highly recommend this for anyone...

Super huiselijke en gastvrije sfeer: als je thee bestelt: een grote pot thee,met gezellige boerenbont mokken/ kopjes. Je kunt in een kouder seizoen bij de warme haard gaan zitten...verder breien aan 'iets' ..er is een leestafel, er zijn kleine expositie, vitrinekasten

met archeologische vondsten, waaronder heel bijzonder mammoetresten!! Bij mooi weer buiten zitten, naast het prachtige beukenbos...eenvoud is de basis, met nadruk op ' ontspanning' en de natuur...voor of na een bezoek lekker wandelen op de Woldberg/ landgoed d' Eese...kortom:...
