we had delicious dishes here; the three-course menu also looked delicious, with a lot of thought put into its combination. the quality of the food (especially the meat) was better than in most other places on the island and on par with the other few higher-end choices (in west-terschelling, like de zee or caracol). the food is pricey, for very similar dishes like we had at 'loods' in west-terschelling the price was about 3 euros more; so for that one star off. considered that everything has to be shipped to the island the price is actually ok. unlike mentioned in another rating the sides are included...

tonight was a colab with "pasta aan zee" the food was medium, too much salt and the meat was not the best quality. however the vibe and the drive of the waiter and cooks were very good! so A for effort but D for performance.

We zaten mid maart een weekje in het hotel. De eerste avond (13-03-25) hebben we hier gedineerd. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening heel vriendelijk. We hebben tijdens de andere dagen ook nog geborreld op het terras, dat was ook helemaal prima. Elke dag staat er weer wat anders op het dagmenu.
