Visited Anatolian Chefs, an authentic and refined restaurant located in the west of Den Haag. Though not in the city center, it's easily accessible and situated in a pleasant neighborhood. Following the other people's reviews, we opted for what we believe to be the star dish: the Mix Grill for two. This generous platter includes kebab, chicken wings, fries, rice, roasted peppers, and lamb skewers. It was truly exceptional, and while it’s advertised for two, the portion is quite large—easily enough for three people. This dish alone was worth the visit. We also sampled the Carpaccio, a delightful beef carpaccio roll with truffle mayo, Parmesan cheese, arugula, and potato. It was delicious, with a well-balanced flavor profile—typically, carpaccio can be a bit bitter, but this one was just right. For dessert, we chose the Baklava, a classic Turkish treat, and Kunafe. Although Baklava is iconic, I found the Kunafe even more enjoyable, as the Baklava was a bit too sweet for my taste. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. There is one mevrouw waiter was incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and made us feel right at home. Her warmth and smile added a special touch to our visit. Kudos to her for making our dining experience even more memorable. I highly recommend Anatolian Chef—not just for the fantastic food, but for the outstanding service as well.

We are a family of 5 from Malta. We came here with no expectations & the service was wonderful. The waitress was very friendly, helpful & funny, making our experience just that much better. Service was quick but not rushed, just at the right pace. The food was absolutely delicious. We have been to Gaziantep before, widely regarded as the culinary capital of Türkiye & the food in this restaurant was just as good. The prices are fair & portions are large, perfect for leftovers. The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful. There are nice decorations, making it feel like a small pocket of Türkiye in the Netherlands. Additionally, it was super clean & the waitress constantly cleaned our tables & brought us clean cutlery. Overall a very good restaurant, I highly recommend for everyone to visit, it is some of the most authentic food Turkish food in the Netherlands.

Anatolian Chef has everything you need- excellent food, friendly service, beautiful terrace by the canal, ample parking, pretty & classy decorations. This is our favourite Turkish restaurant, and we have been here many times since they first opened. We love the bread & mix tapas, mixed grill was excellent, the grilled chicken & mushroom sauce (izgara tavuk gogsu) was prepared to perfection! My kids love the burgers (Anatolian Chef Burger) as well. We couldn’t leave without the delicious baklava (served with ice-cream). And the Turkish tea is a must! The friendly service (especially by Maryam- she is an excellent host) plus the delicious food keep bringing us back to the restaurant. We highly recommend the restaurant!

The place looks good, food looks good, but the taste was really disappointing. We tried Adana, burger, beyti and none of them were good. I am very undecided about the service. There was a lady who even hugs the customers and calls them “ablam” or “canım” in Turkish. I noticed some people liked it, but for our table it was a bit bizarre. And one more thing to keep in mind: if you order a beverage and change your mind in seconds even when the waitress was still getting orders, it is too late. They say “oh we already opened the can, if you want it feel free to order a second beverage.” That was rude.

5 out of 5. Went here with the whole family last week. Was on the list to check it out. It was packed although it's a bit expensive. First of all, halal food! And second of all, really nice food. Somehow it tastes different then most other Turkish restaurants. Food tastes more authentic. Next to that, very accommodating staff, we were 6 people and still got seats. Especially the sister that coordinates everything. I can really recommend this restaurant. If you want authentic taste, check it out.
