Brasserie de Steiger — Restaurant in Utrecht

Salmon was too salty and tight. Fries were not cooked properly. Sate sauce was powder in water sauce. The starter was bland cold cuts (not self-made). For 20-25 EUR for a plate a good I'd expect more finesse. Beer from the tap was pretty flat. Unfortunately bad acoustics so not very cosy. Menu on the website outdated.

We were offered a free hot beverage to make up for our unfortunate food...

The food and atmosphere are okay, however, myself and my colleague were having a business meeting and we wanted to sit upstairs. We were met with “The service upstairs is not good, if you want to sit upstairs, you have to carry your own food.”, in all the years I’ve eaten in restaurants I was not asked to carry my own food from the kitchen.

Absolutely shocking...

Went here for dinner. The food was so-so, not something i would come back for, especially given the prices. It also seems like main courses dont come with a side for each course. Ordering 8 main courses seems to come with 2 personal sized sides of fries to share. The ambience is nice and the staff is...
