Food was Bland and needed some extra seasoning on the meatballs . The main complaint I have is with the steak as I don't believe it was fully cooked through and large amount of it was Fat so not a good cut of meat for 34 euro. The worry on me is food poisoning as since me and my GF ate there. The last 3 days we have been having sever cramps and going to and from the bathroom and not able to stomach food. Also service was slow and not very friendly having to try catch there attention to get refills. There was also a point in the afternoon a tree branch broke of the large tree that looks over the outdoor dinning area and fell down around Dinners and there was no reaction from the staff . This could have easily hit someone along with that no one came to clean up the branches that had fallen over the chairs.

We had a nice dinner here and appreciated that it’s a dog-friendly restaurant—our dog was even given water upon request. The menu is limited but okay. However, with such a small menu, you’d expect all listed items to be available. Unfortunately, they had run out of half the ingredients for the dish I chose. On the bright side, the staff informed me in advance and checked with the chef to find an alternative that took my allergies into account.

The man at the next table wasn’t as lucky—he wasn’t informed, and ended up receiving only half of his order along with a completely different side and sauce than expected, which left him quite surprised.

Hier op vrijdagavond gegeten in combinatie met een hotelovernachting in het boshotel. Arrangement met 3 gangen diner geboekt. Bij het inchecken kregen we te horen dat het een voucher ter waarde van €32.50pp betreft. De bovenste drie voor-, hoofd-, en nagerechten op het menu passen binnen dit budget, exclusief drankjes. Die gerechten moeten dan natuurlijk ook in jouw straatje passen en dat deden ze in mijn geval niet. Daardoor ben je toch genoodzaakt om andere gerechten te kiezen en dus een meerprijs te betalen. Ik had lente ui soep met zalmsnippers (was lekker maar mocht wat kruidiger, zalm is wel een goede toevoeging), de bosburger (was lekker, flink stuk vlees) en de dame blanche (slechte prijs/kwaliteitverhouding, veel te duur voor wat je krijgt, was ook al erg gesmolten). Mijn vriend had de overbergse bol met tapenade en allioli (was prima maar de allioli proefde meer naar mayonaise), saté (ook prima, lekkere pindasaus) en de tiramisu (prijs/kwaliteit nog slechter, erg klein en weinig smaak). Bediening was vriendelijk, serveren van de bestelling duurde wat langer dan gemiddeld. Sfeer op het terras is wat saai, er staat een kaarsje op tafel maar die werd niet aangestoken. Binnen oogt het gezelliger. Zeker niet slecht maar zou er ook niet zo snel nog een keer naartoe gaan. Verbeterpunt is vooral de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Daarnaast denk ik dat het hotel en restaurant eens in conclaaf moeten over dit concept. Het is een lokkertje met addertje onder het gras wat bij het boeken niet vermeld wordt.
