Valentino — Restaurant in Veenendaal

We was on Saturday 24.04.22 Well we pick up randomly this place. Was mostly empty at the time. Design outside and inside was very nice, comfty. That pictures was pretty nice to look at. Now about the order and menu we had to ask all about it. We order pizza for 3 people, and what we get. Not a big pizza, when in menu wasn't any size about it. It's not clear at all. When we get pizza, we didn't get any plates to eat separately as normal people and pizza was on small plate but wasn't even cutted, we supposed cut with fingers? That was more than weird and even the stuff wasn't really nice to us, like they hit with plate with some food and you can eat like animals. That was rude. We had to ask someone each time. When we finished again we had to wait very very long to pay. I thought that this restaurant has so high review then i thought it will be good, but appearances sometimes are totally wrong. We dined here for the 2nd time a few weeks ago. This will be the last time. The service was very slow, the Spaghetti Carbonara was extremely salty & had obviously been heated in the microwave but was not warm. But the main complaint was that they had issues with the cash register but never informed us and just left us waiting for a very long time. We feel for the money spent, we could have done much better eating elsewhere. Also, had the communicated to us that they were having issues with the register, that would have been much better than leaving us to wait for such a long...

Always an excellent experience to visit Valentino's. Talented Italian chefs cater this cozy restaurant, a variety of delicious and fresh foods that exceed my expectations. I can't decide what to recommend first because every time I find a new love here among the succulent antipasti and other dishes I had tasted here! Love the see thru refrigerator stocked full of Italian delicacies, and the amazing wines (specially from the island of Sardinia). Come and have a taste of good Italian life in the beautiful town...
