First it looked ok, and a simple drink with snack went ok. But dinner went wrong, after first serving, main course took long because it was forgotten so it took long before we got main course. Then the bill, it contained meals from another table, and when asking for a correction we were asked if we really didn't take that meal..... Which I find kind of rude, if you (servant) simple looked at the bill, we were with 4 persons but the bill had a total of 6 main courses..... So all in all at the end, no it wasn't a pleasant stay/dinner, meals itself were ok, but nothing special.......

We came here with a reservation. When we arrived, we had to sit inside with the people who didn’t have reservations. It was too hot inside. We told them why we are sitting inside with a reservation, they said it’s fully booked at the terrace. We waited 25 minutes to get a table outside. The reservation wasn’t useful at all, it was disappointing! Plus there were couple of empty tables at the terrace..We ordered quite a lot of food, and it was tasty with good portions. But fries and calamari came in plastic containers, we expected better quality from this kind of a restaurant.Overall, service and...

Ich war bei De Strandzot essen und bin absolut begeistert! Schon beim ersten Blick auf das Essen war klar: Hier wird Qualität großgeschrieben.

Ich habe das klassische Fish & Chips bestellt, und es war ein echter Volltreffer. Der Fisch war außen goldbraun und wunderbar knusprig, innen zart und saftig – genauso, wie es sein soll. Die Panade war perfekt gewürzt, überhaupt nicht fettig und einfach nur lecker. Dazu gab es eine großzügige Portion frischer, knuspriger Pommes, die goldgelb serviert wurden – knusprig außen, fluffig innen. Richtig gut!

Besonders hervorzuheben sind auch die hausgemachten Dips: Der cremige Remouladensauce passte hervorragend zum Fisch, und auch die zweite Sauce (wahrscheinlich eine Art Zitronen-Mayonnaise) war herrlich frisch und rundete das Gericht perfekt ab. Die Zitronenscheibe obendrauf war nicht nur dekorativ, sondern sorgte für eine angenehme Frische.

Das Ambiente war entspannt, stilvoll maritim und trotzdem gemütlich. Man sitzt mit Blick aufs Meer, hört das Rauschen der Wellen und kann dabei köstlich speisen – was will man mehr?

Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Obwohl es gut besucht war, mussten wir nicht lange auf unser Essen warten.

Fazit: Wer frischen Fisch in Top-Qualität direkt am Meer genießen möchte, ist bei De Strandzot genau richtig. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann dieses Restaurant...
