Isis Grillroom — Restaurant in Vlaardingen

It’s always a treat to come back from Copenhagen to my favourite shawarma place in the Netherlands and perhaps this is even the best one in the world 🥙

The dish I always take is “de Kapsalon” and this is my always to go for when I’m here. I love that they serve “de kapsalon” with patato slices instead of regular fries, this give the load of shawarma more support and flavour. The mix of sauces are always the best in my option(go for the garlic mayonnaise) and topping of melted cheese is superb 🧀 🧄

The owner and staff of this place are the best and I would definitely recommend people to come over as well to try the food and wonderful...

Today, 25.10.15 visiting the grill room again after two years. New Interieur, the old but very friendly staff, very delicious food. Always great to be there. The coffee reanimated Isis again, I believe ;-) Hot, strong, good.

Right yesterday 21.7.16 we have been there again. And it is still the same and friendly staff, the same delicious food. Always a pleasure rhino...

We bestelden een aantal broodjes Pita (4 sx), om te bezorgen. Alles werd snel bezorgd, geen kritiek. Ik was een beetje verbaasd over de sambal die erbij bezorgd werd en ik wist dat er geen gemarineerde witte kool gebruikt (wel ijsberg sla). Mijn negatieve waardering vanwege het feit dat we alles in aparte bakjes kregen; slechts 1 heel klein broodje, een grote bak sla, een flinke bak gekruid vlees (minimale kwaliteit en erg droog) en knoflook saus. De verhoudingen klopten niet, voor 1 klein broodje. Het veel, de sla en de vettige knoflooksaus konden zeker niet in 1 mini broodje gegeten worden. Ik verwachtte een vooraf klaargemaakte pita van minstens het dubbele formaat. Dit was shoarma vlees met sla, een klein broodje en 2 sauzen. Geen normaal broodje...
