Onder de Linden — Restaurant in Wageningen

This place is a real scam. We were there as a group of ~15 people. We were served a mixed dish on a wooden plate consisting of drumsticks, pork ribs, shrimps, and veggie burger. On the side, we had three portions of fries. The taste was ok but the price was incredibly high. To give you an idea, the dish in the picture was shared by 8 people and we paid 20 euros each. This means that this plate's price (plus fries) is 160 euros. Onder de Linden has now been saved to the "places to stay...

I'm not reviewing the beers here because you have 150+ other reviews about it. I have to talk about their half chicken they have for dinner. Amazingly marinated and slow cooked (4 hours) in the oven. Finalized on fire to create the nice and tasty crustiness. The portion has a decent size, so you will fill full. It is served on a wooden plank with french fries and apple compote as side dishes. The french fries are also very delicious....

A brewery next to my ex-employer. The opening times were not that ideal as I wanted to have it, but I still managed to go there twice and I liked it.

Frankly speaking, small breweries deserve support way more than the big companies do. The people were so friendly and local beer is usually good, if brewed right. I have nothing to complain about and recommend it.
