Athene Palace Wateringen — Restaurant in Westland

The food and ambience was awesome. Cant really complain but i felt our ignorance was a bit abused- probably coz we didn’t speak Dutch.

The menu was in Dutch and we saw the combo meal for 2 people and it was mentioned 45PP. On asking it was said that the quantity was sufficient for two people.

We agreed to having 1 combo meal since the waiter stated it was sufficient for 2 people but Our ignorance or probably the menu should have been clear that Combo meal for 2 was 90 euro (even though it was mentioned 45 PP).

I do not know why they would put Meal for 2 and not just put 90 euro instead!

The food was great though but yeah we were in the impression it was 45 Euro (since we said One combo) but yeah the bill came to 90.

So yes, just be cautious...

The quality of the food is something unbelievable , like top chef! The restaurant was full with customers and still my food come in time , and I got served and checked on every 15 minutes by the waitress if something was needed . the food was Well cooked, fresh and tasty, well balanced with the perfect amount of spices. The dessert was just divine, the ice-cream and baklava I bet is fresh made, because it looks and taste like it . My top compliments to the chefs and the staff for making a statement with their cultural Restaurant. Hands down the best service and food, I fully recommend it for a taste...

We went for dinner on 31Dec and they made our last 2023 night very memorable. The food was amazing and fast!, I think the best Greek restaurant we have been so far in NL. We ordered the grill mix Athene and everything in the menu was delicious! well cooked and tasty. The place looks amazing as well, very beautiful decorated and even when it looks fancy its also cozy. We loved it. Kudos to the staff, it was new year eve and they were also fantastic, very friendly, helpful and attentive people, how nice! we really appreciated it. We will definitely come back here for dinner with family...
