It looked like a really nice place and the inside was neat, atmosphere was nice and romantic. The food was bad. I wish I could say it differently, but soggy schitzel and overcooked cod don't desere any accolades, specially if you look at the pricing! The service was varying; from nice people that are a little inexperienced to a more experienced person that was obviously not interested, and spent quite some time on her phone. A little more general attention from the staff would make sure people don't have to walk over to the bar to get drinks... Tsja. Mooi terras op prima plek. Personeel vriendelijk maar niet heel ervaren en een beetje vreemd uniform. Zeer kort zwart broekje tot halverwege de dijen en dan een bruin leren schort erop tot 1 cm boven dat broekje. Schort loopt door tot de A-lijn en daaronder een lange blouse. Heel bijzonder. Ze hebben een leuke kaart, beetje eetcafé plus met restaurantprijzen. Helaas wordt veel van te voren al nagenoeg helemaal klaargemaakt en dat zie en proef je. Dat is jammer, want zo druk was het nu ook niet. Waarom dan niet vers klaargemaakt? En hoewel op de kaart staat dat ze niet aan liflafjes doen, lag het bord vol met onzin, naast friet en aardappeltjes op tafel (prima) op het bord een chaotisch iets. Een bolletje uitgedroogde puree met wortel (vergeten af te dekken?). Daarin rechtop een aardappelschijf als ribbelchips gebakken en schuin een driehoekje van bladerdeeg erbij. Slaat kant nog wal. Dus toch liflafjes. Maar goed met die prijzen moet je ook wel wat, want je zit zo aan 4 tientjes per persoon voor een schnitzel, biertje, 2 wijntjes en kopje koffie (wel lekker). En rampzalige rietjes (breken al bijna voor je ze beetpakt, en dat weten ze zelf ook, want je krijgt zonder pardon steeds een nieuwe met de opmerking dat "het verschrikkelijke rietjes zijn", tsja; Koop dan andere!) Verder alleen Brand bier en daarover werd verteld dat veel gasten dat jammer vinden en erover klagen, tjsa waarom je dan niets anders op de kaart erbij zet is mij...

I was a little scaptical about the restaurant because of some reviews I read but it was really a great romantic evening... The people at the service were nice and charming. According to some of the critics it took some time for the plates to come! But we were not at a fastfood restaurant so it was completely ok to spend the evening at the restaurant.
