Teleurgesteld! The waiter was amazing The home made bread and tazziki with mint oil was amazing The duck in hoisin sauce was terrible! No sign of hoisin, just katjup manis. the chef came out after my partner had finished eating, he then spent 10 Min trying to convince me that it was hoisin.... Then finally agreed that it was misleading, the veggies where greasy! I had deboned the duck leg and had a bite, so I'd tasted it and that's it. It was clear that this wasn't for me. The chef took my full plate, and they still charged me 1/2 of meal for something that I did not order. We had a 100 eur voucher which we'd received to celebrate the occasion of 25 years together, and we didn't even bother with the rest of the voucher. If you like authentic Asian, avoid this place. Definitely not worth trying.

We had a salad which I requested them to make without meat and they did a Fantastic job, the chef came to meet us after we had our meal and asked us how was it, the only thing we could say that it was truly amazing. The cod fish with spring vegetables and watermint sauce which was a filet was really well prepared too, the food was yummy and delicious, we couldn’t eat more and then after knowing that there was a chocolate cheesecake with banana and caramel sauce we couldn’t say no, and it was one of the best desserts we have had. This place is as good as a Michelin star for me. The food was superb.

Je zou het niet verwachten op deze locatie, aangezien je eerst over een industrieterrein rijdt en het pand ook niet erg opvalt, maar sla Het Kraantje niet over! Een rustige plek om aan het water te lunchen op zaterdagmiddag. Het ontvangst was vriendelijk, we mochten zelf een tafel kiezen en kozen voor een tafel met een bankje en stoelen. Het bankje zat heerlijk, daar kon je echt goed op zitten! De bediening is vriendelijk, de kok/gastheer/eigenaar (?) ontzettend enthousiast! De lunch bestaat uit een soep (foto 2), keuze uit twee. Wij kozen voor soto ajam. Met een heuse soepkar werden we bediend. De verse ingrediënten kon je zelf kiezen, o.a.: chilivlokken, gekookt ei, taugé, paksoi, gebakken uitjes. Daarnaast mocht elke persoon twee gerechten turven op een kaartje (ruimte keuze uit warme en koude gerechten) en één bijgerecht. De gerechten waren allemaal lekker van smaak, waarbij de pulled pork en de bruschetta favoriet waren. Bestel je thee, heb je de keuze uit zo'n acht verse theesoorten. Met een gevulde soes als nagerecht zaten we meer dan vol, we zijn dik tevreden naar huis gegaan!

The cod fish with spring vegetables and watermint sauce which was a filet was really well prepared too, the food was yummy and delicious, we couldn’t eat more and then after knowing that there was a chocolate cheesecake with banana and caramel sauce we couldn’t say no, and it was one of the best desserts we have had. We have eaten lunch here a few times and finally decided to try it for dinner. We were sorely disappointed with the service and just walked out. The person who checked our reservation didn't take the time to welcome us and couldn't find our reservation. When she finally did we had to find our own table. Both of the available tables in the shady part of the patio were dirty and we had to ask a server to clean one. This in itself isn't a problem, but she began cleaning other tables before cleaning the one we has requested. When we decided this was enough and left no one said anything.

Don't get me wrong, lunch here is great. I would, however, avoid it in...
