Chill place with friendly staff, you can say that about any place on GBI but what you can't say is 5 star coffee, interesting and complex food with a level of taste perfection that would mean if this place was in Auckland or Wellington you would never be able to get a table.
Coming through the courtyard it has a hip and spacious vibe with varied seating options. The cabnit food looked good but I was in the mood for a big lunch.
The first plus came from them having the smaller tulip cups for my coffee, the coffee bean itself was Karajoz and was perfectly prepared. It really was a five star coffee and left me wanting a short black just to see how good it really was.
I ordered the avo on toast, a classic that tastes good wither it's prepared simply or with a little flare. This was with a little flare! I'm not going to ruin the surprises with a list of ingredients but expect a little meddle eastern influence. I tip my hat to the chef in putting this together.
