Roadrunner Tavern — Restaurant in Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community

ABSOLUTELY UNIMPRESSED!!! Toilet DID NOT have any toilet rolls...(I was given a few tissues from a tissue box over the bar servery..!)Toilet area shockingly disheveled and unclean. Very Poor Poor service by an Asian woman who obviously had hearing difficulties, and disappointing p.r skills. I had to repeat myself SEVERAL times and she appeared vague in understanding the simplest enquiry of the Menu, which on offer, and advertised on the Menu Board! Very frustrating, and time consuming.

I was given High recommendations about this Tavern prior, however, I came away totally gutted. I would NOT recommend anyone to even consider...

Paihia isn't the best place for me, unless I found this little tavern. I stepped in and had the most fluent conversation I've ever had in New Zealand. It was amazing to find people so talkative and enjoyable. I also enjoyed the best company possible in this little space and felt welcomed as if it were...

Tavern was closed. Politely asked the lady in the bottle shop if the pub would open back up and she was rude and snappy and told us she wasn't in charge of the bar. Would love to come back to taste the burgers that people raved about...but will buy our take away booze...
