Nice little restaurant with a cozy indoor and pretty outdoor seating area. We had a sharing platter for 2 and it was a great sampler with seafood and meats, which were all very tasty! The dessert wine we tried was also very good. The surrounding scenery make this place very special as you need to cross a bridge over a narrow gorge to reach the restaurant from the parking space.

Wild Earth offers everything you could want from a restaurant and more. We ordered a range of dishes and some wine and it was all impeccable. Every bite was perfect and the only regret I have is that it's now over. The service was all wonderful and friendly and the price was great. I would absolutely come back here and recommend it to all!

Great place to stop in for lunch if you are visiting Cromwell. Highly recommend the Stoaker Banquet, great way to taste multiple wines and dishes of the local region and reflects good value for money in both quality and quantity. Served from their outdoor kitchen and seating area, overlooking the orchard.

Absolutely spectacular food, and the wine tasting went down a treat with it. The frontman, Quintin, absolutely charmed our socks off, he was a great conversationalist, and all to happy to accommodate us in regards to minor menu changes.

I believe the meat is all cooked in old wine barrels, custom designed by the chef (who also used to be a wine maker). We shared a 4 meat platter, and my God, it was amazing. The pork belly and salmon were both so soft they were almost jelly, and the seasoning on the chicken was fantastic. A huge quinoa and lettuce salad complimented the heavy plate of protein nicely. We spent the entire time making unintelligible noises of appreciation, before lapsing into a food coma shortly afterwards.

The wine was also great, and we very nearly bought one of their pinos, holding off only because our wallets had already taken a beating from earlier in the day.

This place was recommended to us by Maori Point wineries, and it lived up to...

Expected so much more. Very expensive and the food was below average. My husband had the ribs which was dry and overcooked. My son's chicken was bland and dry. We waited about 50 minutes for our food despite the fact that it was not busy at all. This used to be a lovely spot. Beautiful shady areas that had tables and chairs. All gone. Moved to an undercover area that is hot and stuffy. We will...

I have become a regular. The food is fabulous and not expensive. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. Was a little concerned that it could be cold during the winter months but the heating is taken care of. Love the surroundings. I run a b and b and do suggest The Stoaker Room to guests. Haven't had any complaints but lots of praise. Well done guys. Keep up...
