Absolutely spectacular food, and the wine tasting went down a treat with it. The frontman, Quintin, absolutely charmed our socks off, he was a great conversationalist, and all to happy to accommodate us in regards to minor menu changes.
I believe the meat is all cooked in old wine barrels, custom designed by the chef (who also used to be a wine maker). We shared a 4 meat platter, and my God, it was amazing. The pork belly and salmon were both so soft they were almost jelly, and the seasoning on the chicken was fantastic. A huge quinoa and lettuce salad complimented the heavy plate of protein nicely. We spent the entire time making unintelligible noises of appreciation, before lapsing into a food coma shortly afterwards.
The wine was also great, and we very nearly bought one of their pinos, holding off only because our wallets had already taken a beating from earlier in the day.
