The Red Shed in Drury is an absolute gem! We had our Drury Tyres end-of-year Christmas Breakup there, and it was nothing short of brilliant.
From start to finish, Amy, our incredible host, made the experience seamless and memorable. Her attention to detail was evident from the very first phone call to the final moments of the night. She handled every aspect of the organization with care and dedication, even being the last to leave after ensuring everything went perfectly.
Chef Jordan Church and his team are true culinary artists. The canapés were simply outstanding — a seemingly endless variety of flavors that left everyone raving. Even before the main courses arrived, we were already full, but the feast that followed was absolutely next level. From ham and chicken to smoked salmon and beef, every dish was prepared to perfection. Despite our best efforts (and plenty of second helpings), there was so much food we couldn't finish it all!
The evening was capped off with desserts that exceeded all expectations, leaving us more than satisfied.
The atmosphere was equally impressive — we enjoyed singing in the cozy main dining room and relaxing in the garden area. Amy and the bartenders made sure we felt at home, never rushing us, even as the night lingered into their busiest preparation day. Their hospitality was truly exceptional.
To Amy, Jordan, and the entire Red Shed team: thank you for giving us an unforgettable night. If you’re looking for a venue that combines top-notch service, incredible food, and a warm, welcoming vibe, don’t hesitate to book your next event at the Red Shed. We can’t recommend it enough!

Read moreI came here for breakfast as a special treat with my toddler and partner
There was no warm greeting, the staff were just watching us and not saying anything not even hello it was so strange and unwelcoming
There was bird poo EVERYWHERE. All over the table and chairs of every table we looked at, I understand some here and there since the cafe is nestled in nature but it was actually ridiculous and so gross since we’re trying to eat
I got given my cappuccino and the spoon had old food on it, which I can’t understand as they would’ve seen it when putting it on the saucer. This, with the bird poo everywhere that’s impossible to miss, just really made it seem like they simply don’t care about cleanliness 🤢
The food was so bad. I have never had to put so much salt and pepper on eggs on toast as I did here and it was STILL bland, like they got the world’s most magically bland eggs. It was also cold as! The sourdough was so hard/stale, and the knife I was given was SO blunt it was like trying to cut through a brick with a spoon
The steak my partner got was like 1/3 cartilage and fat which wasn’t cooked or rendered down at all, he absolutely loves steak and eats it at least twice a week but he couldn’t finish this one it made him feel sick
I just left here feeling so deflated as I had wasted so much money just trying to do something special for my family which we hardly get to do currently with the cost of living. I will NEVER come...
Read moreI have said it before, but my continued fabulous experiences here makes me want to say again.........what a fantastic venue, a stunning menu with something for everyone , [exceptional value for money too] fabulous staff and sensational service. I loved the friendly way I was greeted – nothing was too much. We were graciously seated by the Manager, a very warm and welcoming host.
For me it is always a toss up [Yip! I am a repeat customer] between the Eggs Benedict and the Kidney Saute’ – and as always, cooked to perfection. The cabinet food simply delightful. There is something for everyone.
I love the way you have embraced your community, wrapping yourself around the needs of the locals. Once a closed up building with a story, you have brought it back to life. A garden centre, a cafe, a venue, easy to find, easy to get to and tons of parking. From the art on the walls to the local school cookbook sold as a fundraiser – there is more than just food and beverage for sale. You have brought new jobs and past customers into a rural community.
You make it a priority to know your customers and make us all feel so welcomed in what is undoubtedly a friendly, relaxing place to...
