We went on a rainy Sunday, and there was plenty of parking space. This place is a nice hidden gem.
We brought some McDonald's with us but we did order food. The staff informed us very politely that they don't allow outside food, we apologized and they let us stay. It was our bad, but I appreciate the staff being good about it.
The food was surprisingly nice. We got chicken waffles and chicken fettuccine. All were very tasty. The fried chicken with waffles was succulent and not dry at all, and the fettuccine was creamy with generous portions. We also had the carrot cake, which was dense and had good quality cream cheese frosting.
They also do bubble tea, not great as the tea doesn't taste very strong, but good to know that there's a place down south that makes them.
Their menu had both western and Asian options which was cool.
The actual cafe was very spacious with sheltered outdoor seating. The plants decorating the area added a nice touch and the view was quite pleasant looking over the fields.
There's also a small playground and laser strike available for those with children. Parents can watch their kids playing laser tag on the grass if needed.
I would be telling friends about this cafe, and I will...
Read moreWe visited the Hidden Café today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by this "Hidden" little gem. The young lady that greeted us was absolutely charming, firstly explaing that she was from Venezuela and appolgising that her English was not yet up to speed, but she certainly managed our order well and we all had a good laugh. My husband decided on the crispy chicken burger with chips, and I ordered the wedges with sour cream, cheese and bacon. Even though they were extremely busy with a large table of Mad Hatter ladies having an amazing time our lunch arrived promptly. The burgers 🍔 chicken was moist on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. My wedges were nicely cooked, plentiful sour cream and bacon but I would have appreciated some more cheese. All in all the Hidden Café is well worth a visit and the prices are very reasonable. One other positive it is...
Read moreThe Hidden Cafe is definitely a hidden gem 💎 It has a cozy feel with the plants 🪴 and decor, without feeling small. The food going out to the tables looked amazing 😋
I had to wait ⏱️ for my simple order, but they were quite busy with the brunch run, so fair enough. But it was so worth the wait! The coffee ☕️ was hot, strong, and like velvet. The carrot cake 🍰 was moist and fluffy, with the perfect tangy cream cheese frosting 🤤
They have outside seating as well, with a big play area for kids 👌 It's very kid friendly. There is also laser strike for the older children, and it's especially popular for birthday parties 🥳
They also have llamas and horses 🐎 Llamas 🦙 are the bigger cousins of alpacas. They are not as friendly 😒 and a bit more territorial. So although I absolutely adore them, I stayed a bit...
