We chose a 'walk n fork' style meal which was perfect; our guests enjoyed the relaxed setting and were all very well fed, and commented the food was delicious. Greg also catered superbly to the 7 kids we had there with plates brought out for them early which they ate in the pergola area.
Greg is relaxed and casual, very personable and fantastic to deal with, and only too happy to draw from his many years' experience delivering weddings to give us tips and ideas. On the day he went above and beyond, delivering on absolutely everything he promised and more. Read moreMy friend had a wedding at Linden Estate and the reception was held at the restaurant. The restaurant was fairly large but was most likely re-organised for the wedding. It had quite a few parks outside and there was also an outdoor area overlooking the vines out front. We had pre-ordered the food. The portions were actually quite large. The entree was a bowl of mushroom risotto while my main was a whole block of grilled halloumi. The flavour and consistency of the risotto were alright but there were a few hard grains which I didn't enjoy. The halloumi and salad were nice. The creme brulee was disappointing though. The brulee wasn't done long enough so that it was quite grainy. The creme itself had an interesting flavour but the texture wasn't very smooth. Overall it was quite a nice place for food. Our wedding was set in winter and what a perfect winters day we had. We were married in the cellar which was beautifully cleaned and set-up (thanks also to I Do Glamour), we then had our reception at Valley D Vine restaurant were we enjoyed an amazing atmosphere of incredible food, friendly staff and well presented table settings. Greg Miller supported both Neil and I through want was a roller coaster ride of emotions and stress, when we lost our original venue. With no back plan or money Greg supported us and made our wedding dreams come to life.
