Kangnaru (Traditional Korean Cuisine) — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

We really love their spicy squid and kimchi soup and have been a frequent takeaway customer there. Everytime we takeaway i have to worry about whether they will give us the same side dishes as when we dine in and true enough it proves my concerns are valid. They have different standard to takeaways on side dishes, sometimes we don't get it at all, sometimes we get 1 side, sometimes 2-3 sides, and there are 1-2 times when we get 4 dishes too which make our dinner meals perfect! Tonight we called to takeaway again and asked for sides dishes and the lady only gave us 1 side dish. When i asked for more she took the offence and told me takeaways wouldn't get side dishes, only 1 allow. And when i ask to exchange to another type of side dish which i like she also said no and claim that they don't have enough! That's not a good reason at all when i just saw her refill a current diner's 4 side dishes just a few minutes ago.. I am totally disappointed with her service and will give up supporting their business as i can't get over the logic of getting 4 dishes refillable for dine in customer and same order for takeaway get no side dishes and if given, only 1 dish, no chance to refill too. Hope they will rethink how they do business in order for customer to continue supporting it. Support has to be...

Have come here twice in the past three weeks. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is comfortable and roomy.

The service is on fleek. I think good service is just so important. They don't always get our order right unfortunately, but they always make it right one way or another. The food is pretty good and they are generous with their portions. In fact, there was so much of the rice cake starter dish, we couldn't finish it!

The owner is nice, but the waitress is a question mark. I tried to order fried chicken and she said "are you sure? it takes time." as if she was discouraging me to order. I asked her how long it would take and then she said "30 minutes"... No one would wait for fried chichens for 30 minutes.
