The coffee here is very weak. The premium blend coffees we ordered, which is meant to be full body were very weak and milky. The coffee that we could taste was pleasant. But prefer a full bodied taste and much stronger coffee. The small pack of beans we bought for over $20 was the same. We had to make coffee with half normal milk to get a proper coffee out if it. That tastes good but nothing amazing. That's using espresso machine. We usually use matakana coffee beans which are twice as strong for 1/3 the price. Nice place to sit though and pleasant enough if you like a milky coffee. Also nice idea to get different coffee and roast in house. Don't know what they are doing to get such a weak result. Overall I think this place is over rated and over priced. Wouldnt go back. Roma coffee is better just up the road and round...

Absolutely gorgeous new coffee roaster out East. Dear Deer 🦌 is true to its name; the dearest little spot to find your next favourite coffee bean or blend, roasted in front of you to your liking.

The staff member who served me took the whole experience to another level. She asked me how I drink my coffee, my preferred flavour profile then matched me to a bean. I'm blown away with the care she took to understand what I was after and to prepare and package my plunger grinds. The experience of watching my beans roast was exciting and warm, filling the air with that familiar, cosy aroma. Looking forward to opening my new bag of 'El Salvador SHG'! 10/10 -...

We pass by this place every so often and we always notice they’re always busy - which is a good sign! We decided to try it today and were astonished by what we step foot in. A cute little shop offering insane variety of choices. The moment we stepped in, the rich smell of coffee hit us and we knew this place is going to be our next favourite spot. I got an ice soy hazelnut latte and I reckon it’s the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’m not a crazy coffee person but I wanted more of that rich coffee taste. This is more of a takeaway place as there isn’t tables, just seats for a quick sit. Staff were super sweet and vibes were immaculate....
