Lovely Atmosphere, service was great, although i did request to the waitress to not have any onions in my food, as i said i have an intolerance to them, she said I'll let the chef know. But No! my warm potato salad came with onions & spring onions. I ordered Apricot & cream cheese chicken with bacon. The bacon was in small pieces through my warm potato salad. I thought it would of at least be wrapped around the chicken, There was no apricot & cream cheese in my chicken. The description on the menu was not how my meal came. My Husband & Father complained there blue cod was very oily & greasy. Our desserts came with really hard balls in them, when i asked the waitress what they were, she said a decoration. They were that hard they'd break your teeth, & it wasn't a decoration on top, but through the actual dessert so you couldn't see them untill you bit down on them, pretty unsafe really. Made a reservation and was here again on the evening of the 14th Feb 2021. The experience was much less than I hoped for or expected to be honest. First up I would say that that staff were great. I have no issues with the manner of professionalism or courtesy of the waiting staff what so ever. However I have to say the food was very bland. It was presented well but that was it. I really found the food to be prepared in a way that - I could have done it better myself. Sauces and food generally just flavorless and boring. Fillet Mignon over cooked , king prawns over cooked ( mushy) and generally all round boring meal. I thought the seafood selection on the menu a bit mediocre to. Nothing really on it to jump out and say " I want that!!" was put right by open noisy bar plus draft omitting - asked to be moved he just closed the door but why put diners there anyway - secondly NO allowance was made for dietry issue (genuine issues) like replace with fries or plain batter - consequantly I became distressed and said we are leaving with my night RUINED - opting to pay drinks but then manager INTERROGATED WHY ! our decision. It's been few months but i wanted do not heat moment then forgot - would I return NOT IF LAST PLACE wish was better menu or allowances (sugguestions) no sauces - replace beer batter with just batter - make icecream sundae as was NO DESSERT I would eat. if could do negative..
