Manu — Restaurant in Kaikohe-Hokianga Community

I visited Kōtare cafe yesterday (Monday morning). There were 2 people outside enjoying a coffee and one person in line ahead of us. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and you are surrounded by native wood tables and wonderful artwork.

We were quickly, warmly welcomed by the lovely ladies behind the counter. I placed my coffee order (they have a locals coffee card to get clipped) and waited.

The coffee came quickly and was a perfect temperature. It was an amazing coffee. I have had coffee from every place in Oponini and Omapere and this was by far the best. I don't think it will take me long to get my coffee card filled.

They have a great range of gluten free counter options and even a vegan option, which was tempting!
