The chips are gooood, especially the garlic chips. They are our go to! Apparently the fish is amazing too. I wouldn't know because I don't eat seafood. Lol. Abit pricey but fish n chips are expensive these days right? The food is good. The service is lacking majorly and can tend to leave a bad taste in your mouth. They aren't very friendly and there's always a long wait even if you have only ordered a scoop of chips. They also come across as rude and extremely impatient. Was recommended this place, what a disappointment terrible fish, mote batter than potato fritters! I didn’t eat as may as well of brought batter and salt. Absolutely terrible and definitely not recommendable to anyone however the cat did enjoy the small portion of fish that I paid $5.60 for once all the batter was removed it was approx 4cm in length and not even a cm wise. If you just like batter then this is the place for you!!!!! The roof is falling down in the customer areas so I’d hate to think what the customer...

Great food, clean oil, fresh ingredients, fresh fish, great cabinet range, very popular. I'd rank it one of the top fish and chip shops in the county, up their with Bobby's fisherys on the strand in Tauranga. Definitely a paragon among fish and chip shops and the best in wanganui.
