The Bluemoon Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Firstly, no real issue with the food. Tasty.

But I drop some stars for a few reasons that you need to be aware of.

1st: If order more than one curry, they reduce the amount of rice you get. I rang to query this, asking why you don't get a 500ml container of rice with each large curry and got told "that's not how it works". Now I don't know about you, but everywhere I've ever purchased a 500ml curry has given me a 500ml container of rice. Not a big deal, but you shouldn't change what you do when the national expectation is a 500ml container of rice.

2nd: The Naan is about 50% smaller than the majority of Indian restaurants, however the prices are comparable to other restaurants.

3rd: They let kid run free in the kitchen and waiting area, climbing over the couches and making irritating noises which ruins the general experience.

All in all, nice curry, but the...

They stuffed up our orders. We ordered two plain naan breads and only got one and a crispy thing. And not only that. I ordered a medium butter chicken and one naan bread and my husband ordered one mild butter chicken and one naan bread and only got one naan bread out of it and a crispy bread thing. Two naan breads plain naan breads not one naan bread and crispy bread thing.

Never coming here again. And my husband and I seriously recommend that nobody orders from Red Chillies because they stuff up...

Visited this restaurant a couple of nights ago. I don't particularly like Indian food, actually I don't at all, but I had their Butter Chicken and garlic Naan it was incredible! Absolutely beautiful!!! Atmosphere was lovely and relaxing and the service was 5 star plus! Staff were so cheerful and friendly and everything was done with a smile. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and won't eat anywhere else when in town. Can't rate it...
