Purchased From Subway Taradale because the Uber app said Buy one Get one Free...sent the store Manager a copy of the post...Heres his reply... Hi Jody. First off we were unaware that this promo was even running. After your complaint, we contacted Uber to remove us from this promo and they had no record of us being attached to this promo. My understanding for this promo is you needed to be an Uber Pass member, which costs extra. They would have required you to add the free subs to your cart, as I have seen with other promos on Uber Eats. These would be marked as free upon checkout. As I can see you are reffering to buy one get one offer for your subway order. But, I can see that you have not added the offered item that was "BBQ Pulled Pork Subway Footlong".
If you add the free item in your cart twice then only the offer works. Hence, you have not received the perk of the offer.

Your answer contradicts the reply from Taradale Subway which I have added. i will beforwarding your reply to The Taradale Subway. At the end of the day I selected the Subway meal as it stated Buy 1 get 1 free as per the photo I supplied...No where did it state that I had to purchase a specific foot long..no where did it state I had to be a member of Uber pass...you and the store have contradicted yourselves to try and avoid the fact you have falsely advertised a product and expected my self to cop the cost.... Sort it ...customers shouldn't have to chase you to rectify your bad...

Twice I got there 10 to 15 minutes before the closing time it says on the door, but they were closed. Once was locked up so I didn't go in. Another time the door was still unlocked. When I went in the staff told me that they are closed. This weekend I got there hours before closing time and the door felt locked. This particular Subway has another entrance so I went there. For that one the roller shutters were down. So I was about to leave when a member of the public told me that the first door I tried is a bit broken, and he showed me the trick to get it open. If not for a bystander I would have assumed they closed early again and left. The staff inside saw me failing to open the door and they did nothing - a bystander had to help their customer. I waited over 20 mins to be acknowledged cuz they were filling an Uber order. They moved SO slowly it was almost impressive and kept talking with each other like they had nothing else to do- while ignoring the customer standing infront of them
Then when I finally got to order they were super short, stingy and passive aggressive.
Way to ruin one of my fave treats.
