Came here specifically to try a mince pies after reading the reviews. You won’t be disappointed. I I had a mince pie, and my wife had a mince and cheese pie both were very tasty thick gravy and beautiful flaky pastry. We immediately went back in and got a third pie and Roger the owner, suggested we try a a different different pie, so we went with the steak and gravy which was as equally as delicious as the other two. Taking a custard doughnut for the road and will eat that later. If you’re in the Napier area, stopped past and grab a pie -you won’t be disappointed

Arrived at 1130 am. Great looking pies and good selection of bakery food Steak and gravy Was a bit dry, light on gravy,was thick. Lamb pie had nice chunks of moist lamb and non offensive creamy curry. Pies 3 stars Creamed donut was wicked, great size, light and fluffy, perfect ratio of jam and cream. Dounut 5 stars

Definitely worth the trip out of your way to go here.. the very best kiwi steak and cheese pies are 💯.. nice flakey pastry top and plenty of proper steak and minimum glug. I gotta smash one of those family donuts one day!!!

This guy makes the best Latte I have ever had in Napier. I have tried a few places in Napier but he wins hands down. Doughnuts are a must try and the pies 🥧 of course.Not many people visit Maraenui shopping centre for various reasons but honestly give this guy some support. It's well worth the visit. It will now be my go to place...
