I love business succeeding- but value for money within reason and a professional look is vital to me and places I recommend in Whanganui .Golden rule in the food industry -How clean and the presentation on the out side, revels the pride/cleanliness taken in the kitchen. Prices are the top end in this location but sadly is starting to look run down- attempted tables been haphazardly half painted yellow with yellow paint drop over the concrete in the process shows a lack of pride in their premises.This makes a difference to me and in recommending to friends visiting or social gatherings. I wish the new owners well, but a more refined approach to how their premises are presented goes a long way with the clientel that can afford to go there. We ordered takeaway for a group that included needs for a gluten free (coeliac) and lower carb meal as well as a kid-friendly meal. The people taking orders were great at directing me to the gluten free options. The warm chicken salad was really tasty, gluten free, filling, and lower carb! A really nice place to eat/drink especially if you have kids. The playground is fantastic and is fenced off with seating inside the area, so you can keep as close tabs as you like if you have young ones. Everything about this place is above average, my only criticism would be you pay for that privilege. Everything is just a little more expensive than other places around town.
