OMG! Best ribs ever! If you ever have the chance to stop here for a bite to eat you must. We had the mussels, meat lovers pizza and ribs. Each dish quite different but all brilliant. Each dish owned it. The pizza had more flavour and more meat than any I’ve had in memory. The ribs were all meat and no fat. The seasoning was subtle but so effective. Most ribs chefs try too hard to make a distinct impression and stuff if up. These ribs are the best. Then we come to the mussels, I was a little sceptical with the sweet chilli sauce but the match with creamy garlic was off the chain. I can’t wait to return! Thanks guys what an awesome dinner. Atmosphere was lovely but food was left on the plates,. A group of 16 of us came last Friday night 23rd November at 8.30 pm. We were offered fish and chips or burgers . The fish was from a frozen packet and over cooked , for $20 we did think it would be at least fresh , like a fish n chip shop! No lemon wedge on plate for fish , no tomatoe sauce for chips. What a surprise to find this 'local' pub such a great night out. Friendly crowd, energetic/happy bar staff. As a group of friends we enjoyed placing a few bets on horse races while enjoying a few beers/wine. Ended up staying on for a pizza meal. Worth trying their 'waffle fries'! A nice double sided gas fire created a warm cosy atmosphere. Several bars to choose from depending on what you are in the mood for. Cards were being played at some tables.
