Outstanding! Fabulous service with a smile . The food was excellent. Chicken burger for me : loads of cheese and fresh salad Fish and chips for him : perfectly cooked with very tasty chips and the fish was cooked to perfection with lovely golden batter. We were a group of nine cold, wet, muddy cyclists, bringing with us mud on our shoes and our bums... Yet, we were warmly welcome, invited to warm up around the blazing fire. A quaint country pub about 15 minutes inland, west of Oamaru. The staff were warm and friendly. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Great view look looking west. The food was ok for pub grub.
