Forum cafe — Restaurant in Otago

It's a great place to stop whilst travelling between towns. There was a good selection of cakes, and they weren't mass-produced.

There was plenty of seating, and we were able to get parking right outside. At 9:40, there were only two couples in the cafe, then right on the dot of 10, all the locals turned up for coffee, and the line was out of the door.

I can't say that the coffee was the best, but there were a host of other options separately charged, like "different milks" and charges for froth. This is why I took one star off the food.

The walls were interesting and decorated by a local artist. That's a nice touch.

Accessibility is excellent as there is parking outside, widely spaced doors and tables, and no steps.

Stopped in here late in the day on a weekend, only doing takeaways and kitchen closed - they were still more than happy to make us toasted sandwiches which were delish! Staff very friendly and efficient. Food is well presented with decent portions. I got my coffee order wrong, and instead of just making it as ordered, they actually took the time to double check.
