Genuinely confused about the good reviews. We had visited once due to reviews and it was so disappointing but we went back the second time with the benefit of doubt and it was equally disappointing.
We weren't greeted when we arrived and no hellos when we went up to the counter to order. We said hello are you and just got a cold front. Tables were dirty with food stains on it. We had seen them clear the table by just removing dirty plates, no wiping and it's obvious when we sat down at our table. Both times food took over 40 mins to arrive (noting that one time we were the only table in there and it still took that long) - waiters not apologetic but slightly rude when others table had question if their food was coming. We have two small children and this is a massive wait time for little humans. Fries didn't taste like they had potato in them, just dirty grease. Burger and chicken were very average, also greasy. Kids meals - they didn't like the taste of it. One of the kids hotdog meal just absolutely smothered in tomato sauce and mustard. Left the restaurant smelling like dirty oil. Service was slow, and it didn't help that there was no friendliness or warmth. Had the regular milkhakes, they were massive in size but tasted mediocre.
The decorations were great but food, service and atmosphere needs improvement. Not sure if we'll be back as we've gave it two...

Have just left your cool cafe. It really is quite something, like a step back to another time . Service was fantastic, super smiley and fast. The food however was not as great . Your chips were great though and a lot of them, the hot dog was, I have to say horrid, like a boiled sav that had been barely reheated in a microwave and the bun it came in was hard to cut and dry. And definitely not enough sauce Hot dogs should be hot and the bread soft. Sorry to be blunt but it's better to know and resolve than sail through thinking all is well. Perhaps an undercover boss sting may highlight issues better ?? Just a thought. The place is super cool though hence my 4...

Service was good.
Everyone enjoyed their burgers, the fries were hot but tasted like they'd been cooked in dirty oil, and the Freakshakes were very disappointing.
For the Freakshakes, the milkshake part of it was just poorly flavored milk (there was no ice cream added to it, even though they said there was), the popcorn and candies were stale, and the huge chunk of chocolate tasted like the cheapest that could be found at a grocery store. If you are going to charge $18 for a dessert, you need quality...
