You have to take your chances to have a good customer service! There were 4 lady staff I met there. 3 were very nice, making me feel welcomed. Unfortunately, one staff made me feel really disrespected.
When she took order, I asked her if they had some food, which I didn't see on the menu but I just wanted to find out. She replied right away, "did you read the menu?" A simple "no" would be nice. Instead, it's like she's questioning me if I did my job. Then, I asked if I could change table because it was a bit dim inside. She kindly went check and told me there's one near somewhere outside. It's a bit confusing to me because there's a reserve sign on that table. It could be nice if she could point out where that is. Then I just went out but still a bit unsure. I went back and asked her again. Same answer w/t any gesture! OK, I thought I could only go sit there and take my chances if the person who made reservation arrived and I was asked to change seat.
She then asked, "do you want the water? " I said yes and there's no further action from her. I realized she's asking me to take my water to the new table. Usually I would do this myself when I change table, because I don't want to trouble the staff further. In this case, I've already felt questioned and unwelcome. This only made me feel worse, like she didn't want to serve me. For real?
Anyway, I still wanted to enjoy my food and the day, but this experience was just too distressing for me to stay there longer. I went to ask a take away box, that lady saw me waiting and asked, "are you ok?" It's like I was wrong to stand there and ask something. "What do you need?" would be nice. This really made my day.

I had 2 people push in front of me while waiting in line to one side so other people could see the cabinet food. I was just wanting a sausage roll and panini and coffee. I asked if the sausage roll came with relish, I didn't get a confirmation answer if it did. After ordering each product I was asked if there was anything else sounding like I was at McDonald's, if she let me finish talking I knew what I wanted. Both the sausage roll & panini came with some kind of relish and a small side salad I was not told or aware of, which I didn't need or want. The coffee was of poor quality and not very strong tasting. I also ordered a pup cup and wondered and asked if the cup was eatable for my dog, it wasn't. I got it anyway as a treat for my dog. He loved it more than I did glad to say. My total purchase came to $40 which I thought to myself how's that. It's just a sausage roll & panini with a coffee, there was no price showing of the cabinet food which would've helped. After getting my food and coffee I walked around the corner and seen a bakery there not realizing it, I would've just gone there. Overall not a very nice...

Original review: Not impressed by the food or the reviews for this cafe. We went for breakfast on Saturday morning, and it was busy but.... First the good points The cabinet food display looks amazing and the coffees were good despite taking over 30 minutes to arrive The full breakfast was bland and presumably centred around the sausage (which was a good one), the mushroom slices were tastless, the plate was cold. The fried chicken with fried and coleslaw was a joke: firstly it was cold, the chicken did not taste fresh and was dry, the fries must have been sitting for 20 minutes and were cold and hard, the spoonfull of coleslaw was inadequate. Overall both of the dishes were not value for money. The atmosphere is good and the staff were friendly. We were offered replacement fries but by the stage we were already very disappointed by our choice of venue. The doughnut from the cabinet had nice jam but was otherwise...
