Indian Summer — Restaurant in Palmerston North

NEVER GO THERE -It was totally bad experience with us. We ordered food and snacks after 40-45 minutes she take our snacks and with in 5 minutes later gave dinner as well. When we ordered we already described it please gave us firstly snacks after 15-20 minutes we r ready for dinner. And which all dishes we ordered some dishes was missing. We finished our dinner they don’t gave us. When we are going to pay bill and ask about our missing dishes-then there owner lady she was not realising our mistake and told us we don’t have time to cut salad and make curd for you guys. It was funny 😂 she told we don’t have cucumber that’s why we not make curd and salad😃😃 . But she was not telling us before. These people have the worst attitude towards people of their own ethnicity (Indian). they treat Indians so badly. Food was ok but service was totally ridiculous. QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH...

I went to the restaurant because of 2 ladies having the same day for their birthday. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I had some tandoor chicken, which was nice and hot, with the baked veges as well. Then I munched on some pieces of. Chilli chicken! Phew!! That was hot!! Had to drink several glasses of water. Then I ordered the Apricot Chicken dish with garlic bread with it. While waiting for that meal I munched on some onion bhaji, which was very tasty. The Apricot Chicken dish was delicious, with the rice as well. Great Staff as well, doing a Fabulous job to help with whatever you want to order...

Friday evening we visited Indian Summer restaurant, Aokautere. The restaurant was busy and a number of customers arrived to collect orders while we were there. Drinks ordered, we selected our mains and sides from the menu. Our meals arrived looked so tempting and were delicious. I'd ordered the Lamb and Mushroom Masala with coconut rice and fruit naan. Highly recommended. The service was excellent and a very pleasant evening was enjoyed...
