Best fresh cream doughnuts and vegetarian quiche - among other things. Service; fast, friendly, family, - love it!!! Food;In nz, the competition is fierce to provide real meat sausage rolls, real cream doughnuts ( as opposed to mock cream which is disgusting), fresh food, quality cakes, pasties, pies and slices food etc. This place delivers on the food. Cleanliness; more attention should be placed on cleaning the tables-people dining in can appreciate a clean space to eat their food however given that this is a small family business I understand on this occassion the tables weren't cleaned once diners had left. Food quality makes up for this oversight. Value for money; excellent value for money. X- factor; value for money, real cream in the doughnuts.... Oh man, do I love Calum's! Long established and world famous bakery in Papakura (to borrow L & P's words). Absolutely AWESOME range of food. Everything is fresh that day. Pies, sausage rolls, jam and cream donuts with REAL cream, jam and cream filled pancakes, awesome range of sandwiches, rolls, Panini's jam packed with generous amounts of fillings. Absolutely adore their caramel slice, custard slice, chocolate cake, carrot cake and brownies. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Not wimpy little pieces like you get elsewhere, but really generous. Everything always clean and neatly presented. Easy to find what you want. The hardest part is making your choice, there's so many! Brilliant! The place is clean, has a decent amount of parking and the store itself is VERY spacious. We stopped in here before going for a walk in the Hunuas, picked up a few rolls, sandwiches and a couple cakes all were delicious. In particular the rolls were the best ive ever had, each had huge amounts of spiced meat and fresh vege ... and for only about 3 dollars (they could easily be 6, in fact i had a bland roll (with tomato sauce in ... NO!) just a few weeks ago around the Maraetai area and that was $6 with bland boiled chicken, no mayo, very little vege and awful service to boot.)
