Well, what a lovely surprise! Having driven past this place a number of times since opening recently, we decided it was time to give it a try! We called up some family members and off we go, as food is always enjoyed more in numbers! Arriving to the restaurant and we were quickly seated. The atmosphere was nice, with a few other diners scattered around. There was a nice feeling in the room as the wait staff seemed to be paying good attention to all visitors. We started off by ordering a few drinks, with a good selection of beers and wines on the menu, we were soon settled in with a cold drink and ready to eat. I ordered a few nibbles, Sweet Sesame Chicken - This was crispy and sweet, a huge hit with the table. I also ordered the Mixed Sizzle Platter for 2 - and this came with a wonderful array of aromatic snacks! Chicken Tikka, Samosa, Onion Bhaji and a lamb shish kebab. A great start to the meal, these were cooked well and the delicious accompanying sauces were put to good use. Then came the mains, and we had ordered a couple of Butter Chicken dishes as well as some hot fries. These dishes really stood out, as we are big fans of the popular indian dish, and this was apparently one of the best we have ever tried, with a beautiful balance of spices with perfectly cooked chicken. This was then completed with a serving of Pista Kulfi, a type of pistachio ice cream. This was the perfect compliment and ending to the meal. Everything was cooked with passion, and served with a friendly smile. While the restaurant is a little bit out of the way, it is well worth the trip! We will be...

On the first night we went there as a Curry Club because we heard that the food was great and it was not disappointing at all. We had great food. On the night after I decided to take the family and friends visiting from Christchurch there instead of our go to curry house. Although the food was good it was not blowing you away good. Will we support them again, yes we would but this time we will know what to expect. For those that enjoy their curry "Indian Hot" you will be disappointed with the spiciness as it is more like a Medium, so keep that in mind. On that, there are still only one curry house in the Tasman area that can make curry "Indian Hot" or...
