The husband greeted us warmly and was attentive throughout the meal. His wife is Thai and the chef in the kitchen. We enjoyed all of the excellent Thai food. We tried a whole bunch of things: two types of curry, both chicken and tofu satay (chicken or tofu on a stick with peanut sauce) tom ka gai (coconut soup with chicken) and several noodle dishes. The decor was nice and a step above what you might expect. The only constructive criticism was that some of the dishes were a little too sweet. Maybe that’s how their customers like it but it’s best to balance the spice/heat with the sweetness. We enjoyed our meal and wish we lived nearby so could...

Brought a Thai Hot drunken noodles from this place and I'm pretty sure I could hear the ancestor's crying as it was being consumed, very very mild in heat but flavour was okay. I was given extra dried chilli on request at no additional charge just incase which was greatly appreciated, still wasn't what able to quench what I've come to know and expect from the Christchurch branch which always delivers on flavour and heat without comprise (fresh chilli 👌). Unfortunately next time that I'm dining on my travels through Ashburton, I'll be looking elsewhere because of this experience. Great if you're scared of spice but no so much if you're...

This was a stopover lunch otw to Christchurch from Mt Cook. Saw the 4.8 rating and decided to come here. Not crowded, which made the service fast and efficient.

Ordered drunken noodles and Tom yum soup with rice. The reason for the 4* is because the noodles was way too salty and oily. The ingredients in the Tom yum soup was fresh and sufficient, the taste was on point and you can let them know how spicy u would like it to be.

They also had Thai Iced tea ($7) and draft beer 🍺 if you are craving for a drink. There was some parking lots (30mins) in front of the restaurant which...

Always a place to come after church service! Food is yummmyyy and portion is generous! 😍 I requested wide rice noodles instead of egg noodles and it tastes great as well. It’s perfect with fresh chili, if you love spicy food. Plus, it has a lot of crispy pork lard on it which I love so much! Love the always friendly service and the cook! Definitely recommend! ❤️

Great food friendly staff. Not over priced. Everyone loved there food. We will be back. Have been back a fue times food and service is always good. Can get busy there. Tonight I tried Kaho Soi (Thai curry noodles) very good. Most of us tonight asked for Thai hot and we were happy with the heat
