Ocean View Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in South Island

The surrounding seemed nice. Unfortunately, we were told in a rather brisk and firm way that they can not seat two additional people as they were expecting a large group. The first question, when we walked to the counter, was "Roomnumber?" Thus, it seems that the restaurant is mainly for hotel guests and coaches/groups and not individual travelers Therefore, we can not give a rating on the food The view seems very nice Costumer-Orientation...

Terrible dining experience, firstly the “cocktails” at $25 were poorly made, not what I would expect for that price. Secondly, ordered the lamb shank, it was dry had to pry it off the bone mash was flavourless. Also ordered the duck confit for the price of $50 extremely disappointing, raw potatoes and the duck was not cooked properly. Would advise against dining here...

Excellent food and service with a gorgeous view of the ocean. I came for sunset. I had their tomato soup, the porterhouse which came on top of scalloped potatoes with portobello on top and asparagus on the side with pumpkin walnut mousse for dessert. Outstanding! I recommend eating here when...
