What a delightful cafe. We were made to feel so welcome by the owner who helped us with our bikes and checked several time that we had everything we needed. The service was excellent, food homemade and wholesome (feta and spinach filo) and delicious (lemon and blueberry cake). There were bunches of peonies and boxes of fresh stone fruit to purchase. Definitely stop if you’re riding or driving past.

This is such a beautiful place. The real fruit ice cream is divine and the rest of their food looks amazing. The gardens are lovely to walk through and I can imagine in November with the Peonies in full bloom this will be an unforgettable experience. The owners are so lovely, happy to have a chat and have you enjoy the gardens.

We have really enjoyed our visit here so far! The coffee and cakes are delicious, the atmosphere is amazing and the garden is beautiful. Best of all, though, are the people. They're all so kind and friendly. One of the staff (a little girl) was so sweet And lovely. It was heart-warming. I love this place so much.

We took a rest stop here on our drive to the Catlins, and boy are we glad we did. The whole place is an absolute delight. The staff are warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the gardens are stunning.

Our dog was welcome on the premises and provided with a fresh bowl of water, before she enjoyed a walk through the gardens. We relaxed in the shade outside and shared a selection of dishes, each one as mouth-watering as the last.

The cinnamon buns were warm and soft, the carrot cake moist and flavoursome, and the sausage roll rated as the best ever by my sons. My coffee snob husband gave the coffee two thumbs up, and the rest of us had various flavours of iced-tea all of which were refreshing and bursting with flavour.

We'll be stopping again on the way home for more refreshments and to stock up on the incredibly inviting fruit...

Was really looking forward to visiting this place so today was the day and wish we never bothered Yes I understand they were busy and had a large group coming in at 3 but we arrived just after 2 ordered from the cabinet then had to wait over 30mins to get 1 cheese roll even thou I paid for 2 and a sausage roll. Our cakes arrived b4 our hot food. No butter on or for my cheese roll and when I asked about the other roll she said she would go and check and never bothered to come back so we sat for another 5/7 mins waiting then got fed up and walked...
