During our recent visit, we encountered some notable aspects. Upon arrival, the staff member at the counter inquired if we were there for lunch and directed us to take a menu and order at our convenience. As the lower level was busy, we opted to sit upstairs, where tables were designated with numbers. One member of our party placed the order downstairs, starting with coffee followed by our meals. I requested tomato sauce and expressed regret for having to ask the staff member to retrieve it. However, we were informed that the upstairs area is typically reserved for events, implying that our choice of seating may have been inappropriate. The staff member's sentence was left unfinished, suggesting some form of explanation or rationale, which was not provided. Despite this, we found the food and coffee to be of satisfactory quality. Upon leaving, we extended gratitude to the two new staff members at the counter, although no acknowledgment was made. Overall, this particular visit left us somewhat disappointed. Additionally, we noted a discrepancy in the pricing structure, particularly regarding the $3 surcharge for scrambled eggs when ordering breakfast.

Nice place and atmosphere, inside. Totally different story outside, plain hot in the middle of summer day. Maybe looks nice for functions, but it was plain next to nothing to see besides car park and corn fields. From what I tasted: Bami (fried noodle) - not much else beside the obvious curry flavour. Totally let down the whole 'Dutch' style of fried noodle expectations. I have tasted better instant Mi Goreng (Indomie) that was made in 2 minutes or less, drunk. And what's with the 5-6 pieces of plain steamed (?) chicken for extra $5+? And to make matter worse, they dump in lots of vegies, that cucumber really washed out the miniscule flavour it has to begin with. You also can't call that 2-3cm pieces of noodle -if 'noodle' has minimum length requirement. 2/10 The Kroket maybe my highlight of the day. Lovely beef taste and mayo side 8/10. Loaded potato - nothing special, just bunch of generic thick cut chips topped with some sauce that gone by the 1st layer of potato. 6/10. Beside the food, they have great staffs and very friendly service. 10/10 on that department.

So well I will start with the place it self and I tell you it is a beautiful spot, loads of parking, EV charges and a view to die for. Service from the serving staff was on point, very polite and service was timely. Coffee was really good and can out quickly. On to the food, we'll my partners food was tasty and interesting flavors. Then on to mine, which was the Dutch hot dog, chips were good sausage tasted nice but..... the bun they put it in was stale and so hard I couldn't bite through it or cut it with a knife, so hard on the initial bite I thought I had hit a stone. Thought at one stage I would lose a tooth, this is no exaggeration. I showed the waitress and tried to cut it in front of her and she was so disappointed that came out of the kitchen. From there I was asked politely if I would like it to be redone but not for me. They took it off the bill so happy with that. In conclusion, the place looks amazing, very welcoming but very underwhelming. Sorry to say but I would not recommend. Hope things improve.

We attended at private function at Zenders cafe over the weekend with a set menu an if I'm being completely honest my family an I left feeling totally ripped off by our experience at zenders. It's not often we get to eat out as a family these days, so spending $200+ on going out for a meal is a big deal for us. So we were really looking forward to a nice meal out with family. Majority of us ordered the fish 'n' chips and i honestly wish we hadnt bothered. We all left feeling so disappointed by the food and service we recieved. I honestly wish we had saved ourselves the extra $160 dollars and just gone down the road to the local takeaways instead where we would of received far better food for a third of the price. The portion sizes were tiny considering we were paying $35 per head and all our meals were stone cold. My wife's fish was under cooked with the batter still soft an soggy on the inside. Children on the set menu were $20 per head and we ordered the pancakes for our youngest. It was only one tiny pancake which was burnt, smoky and tasted awful along side the measly pancake it hadcane 4 tiny little bits of fruit and one measly piece of rasher bacon. If your looking for a decent meal out at these prices do yourslef a favour and go another 200metres down the road to camarosa. Were not normally ones to complain let alone ones to spend time leaving a negative review but can honestly say this is one of the worst establishments we've ever eaten at. I hope you take this on board to improve your quality of food and service for future patrons but its safe to say we sadly we won't be returning and won't be...

I took my daughter out for a mother-daughter date and we begun at Zenders for breakfast. When we arrived we both thought the building and surrounding area was beautiful. At that moment I thought it was a perfect place to start our date and that it would be a beautiful place to have a wedding or function. They have just changed up their menu and have given the customer the option to build their own breakfast. You can select what ingredients you would like to eat in order to create your own eggs Benedict or a full on big breakfast. There is a starting price and as you add ingredients there are extra costs. It's great if you favour sausages over bacon. Or if you want both then have both. If you would rather not build your own breakfast then there are other meals you can choose from the set menu. Build your on breakfast is a great concept but we definitely preferred the set menu instead. I enjoyed my croquettes and my daughter loved the delicious pancakes. The smoothies and frappes were so tasty. Teresa and the staff were quick to answer my questions or query which I so appreciated their time. Even as they were in the middle of training new staff they still came to help.

They appreciate the honest feedback you have to give in regards to their menu or other areas so they can improve...

I attended a high special event and I am very sorry to say it was not a great experience, unfortunately the biggest complaint was the quality of the food, it was absolutely terrible, I spent about $1k . It was $45 per head the worst was the scone, it was described by nearly everyone was that it was the texture of a rock and well over cooked and not much bigger than the size of my thumb nail , the sandwiches were not club as what it said on the menu and a awful filling of just cucumber and a pickle and the size of the vol-o -ven was also the size of my thumb nail and cold and then nearly half of the guests missed out on their cup of tea because apparently there was not enough teapots. The 3 year old didn’t get his club sandwich and fruit and no knife for the cake which of course we had to go to the kitchen and request one and then had to find someone to take it away to cut it up. The fee for city the cut was charged at $30 The only compliments I got was on my decoration skills. Emma our server was great, very nice and polite but the other lady Theresa I’m sad to say was obviously having a bad day, she was not polite at all, seemed very annoyed to be there. So I’m very sorry to say I would not recommend Zenders as a good place to go to for a special...
