Went with 2 others, normally when I eat i enjoy having a chat, however I was so lost in the deliciousness of this meal that I could only focus on one thing, eating! Highly recommend these guys, probably one of the best big vegan brekkies I've ever had, the price isn't to steep either. The staff were great, very polite and always smiling, they didn't force their customer service and over act at all, nice to have genuine service. They have sheltered outdoor seating which is just amazing. If you are passing by Paraparaumu and looking for food then hit these guys up for sure, they are a must have. Lots of vegan choices too!

Went there today for the first time. We were surprised to see that there were Keto options on the menu. I ordered the waffles with seasonal fruits and a cappuccino. It took a little while to get the food, but what came out of the kitchen was certainly worth the wait. The waffles were perfect and the presentation on the plate excellent. I wasn't hungry anymore after I ate half of it, but didn't want to stop, because the waffles were so delicious. I think we found out favourite breakfast spot. Only minor downside was the coffee. I wish they would swap to people's coffee.

Today, I called into a place I have walked, cycled, driven past hundreds and hundreds of times, #rosettacafe Why have I not been here before? What an awesome spot for some kai, breakfast, or lunch. The kai cabinet was so tempting and mouthwatering. The menu was pretty impressive. Loved everything about this place, its rustic look, excellent service, scrumptious kai, great kāwhe, and amazing smoothie. Don't be like me, and just go past and not call in. You won't be disappointed

Warning, it’s a trap! Don’t let the play kitchen and boxes of toys fool you. This is not a place for free range or happy children, please keep all children on lead and harsh under control, ideally shock collars, so as not to trigger the cold hearted manger who seems to think kids should be kept in a corner and be seen and not heard. If you have kids you are of a lower demographic and will be treated as such. Don’t talk too loud or take up too much space, do not make direct eye contact as you may be turned to stone. I’m 37 weeks pregnant with a mild mannered toddler and just left this place (and my half eaten scone and chips) in tears. Still managed to tidy up the toys before going so as not to get in more trouble with the trunchable. Coffee and other staff were lovely and all seemed promising till the fun police appeared on the...

Not at all what I expected. From the outside the cafe looked like an old beach batch, but that is part of it's charm. The interior carries on with that theme. Totally unpretentious, totally casual and welcoming. Constantly busy with locals coming and going, catching up with each other over one of the best coffees on the Kapiti Coast. And the food... OMG! I have not been into any other cafe where I have wanted a little something to eat with my coffee, and been confronted with so many delicious treats I just couldn't choose. In the end I couldn't get all, so went for coffee cheesecake slice (melt in your mouth), and a plum crumble slice to take to our accommodation for later. Not on the main drag, but an absolute gem, worth seeking out if you're staying on or even passing through the...

Very basic decor with very little atmosphere. The staff although not rude were not that friendly either. Food was terrible, had the vegetable frittata which was so dry and hard was uneatable and was served with a sad salad and some sort of relish. We also ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake which we could not eat either due to dryness and tasted old. We left feeling very dissatisfied. Would not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear from the owner of this cafe and the apology for my experience. Her commitment to making this right was so impressive in these hard times and although I marked my experience with food/service low I would give 10 out of 10 for customer satisfaction in dealing with this. Next time I am in this area I will consider a...
