We were staying at "Hole in The Rock "studio, Cape Foulwind, for 3 nights mid February and were put off by some not very glowing reviews of this place but decided since it was a beautiful day and we couldn't be bothered driving back to Westport on our last night, we thought we would try Star Tavern. Now I wished we had dined there more than just the once as it is a fabulous place with great garden setting and the food is fabulous, not only well priced but also very generous in portion size. The waitress was so friendly and thoughtful. I commented that it was a shame that the tavern had had some damning reviews which are obviously incorrect as I would highly recommend this place.
