Crunchies Fried Chicken Mary Slessor, Cross River — Restaurant in Cross River State

So it was my mom's birthday last year I wasn't around cause I was serving as a youth Corps member somewhere in Nigeria, thoughts of ways to get my mom cakes delivered to her in her office, so I decided to stroll to the Crunchies outlet that's just a few plots away from my house at Enugu, I asked to see the manager of the Enugu Crunchies, and I talked to her briefly that I want to order two cakes for my mom in Calabar, that she should help me with the Crunchies Plus manager at Calabar, and she did immediately we spoke and the Calabar manager Ojisor didn't try to cheat, despite the fact that cakes sizes I wanted to get is of higher price in the Enugu Crunchies than in the Calabar Crunchies plus, Mr Ojisor (manager) still told me the cheaper Calabar Crunchies plus price wow! Good people still exist indeed I must commend the Crunchies management as a whole, they're good in every sense they're always reliable and prompt in delivering their services to clients. Its a five star rate scale for Crunchies! Thanks to Calabar Crunchies Plus Manager Mr Ojisor, you're a legend! You made my mom's day and even went to deliver the cakes himself wow, may God elevate him. Patronize Crunchies wherever you are they got you covered if its in their reach, they give you more than good...

I had a very terrible experience when I visited this restaurant crunchies plus Calabar. This was just my very first time to eat here and I was extremely disappointed with their food and their services. I will definitely not visit again.

Firstly it took me almost 20 mins for my food to be served while there was no presence of a que. My food was served very cold and I asked for it to be microwaved lady refused. The chicken I was served was already ripped out from the legs halfway. I asked the attendant lady serving the food to help me change it, but she refused. I added some of the photos to my review so it helps describe the kind of food I was served.

The restaurant also has a top floor where you could also sit to eat but it lacks accessibility as people with disability e.g #wheelchair would find it very hard accessing it.

Ambience is okay but not great. Chairs are also comfortable sitting to eat. For a popular restaurant of this type, they need to step up to par if not if this continues they would be out of business very quickly.

The food here used to be good. I can’t believe how it’s turning out. There are dead flies beside me too as I eat. Shocking for this midscale restaurant that is about to shoot itself in the foot. The sauce on my plate is supposed to be a spicy chicken with veggies. Nothing but chicken and water and the rice is tasteless. This sauce used to go with basmati rice but that’s apparently too expensive for them now. I’m amazed at How the quality has dropped. The restrooms are however of good standard and impressive though a little cleaning...
