Domino's Pizza Calabar — Restaurant in Cross River State

My experience at the Domino Pizza Calabar was a mixture of complex emotions.

The ambience of the place was beautiful and welcoming. I particularly loved the idea behind the wooden chairs and tables. It made it homely in a way.

On the day I went there, there was no cue on the counter just one person before me, but then I noticed that the sales girl didn't particularly place any priority on the order of arrival and my position on the cue was not taken into account, because she just bypassed me and simply went on to sell to another and yet another person. It was not until I raised an objection that she apologized and promptly attended to me.

The 15minutes wait for the pizza went like a breeze. It was barely noticeable. I loved the idea that the pizza was prepared after I arrived and I didn't have to taste a stale or cold pizza. When the pizza was ready my name was called over the microphone, it felt hearing a somewhat mechanical pronunciation of my name.

The wait was over, my mouth was salivating, the smell of baked flour was all over the air, I was just inches away from being be in contact with the pizza. I took my first taste of the crunchy pizza and my taste buds were assaulted with a very deliciously tasting pizza. It was worth the hype, I wasn't disappointed.

Only to get home to discover when I checked my bill that I was over charged, I was charged for the complementary coke the attendant said would be given to me. I felt bad, but then I would not allow something like that dent a memorable experience for me.

If you ask me whether I would be back? Why not, only that I would be more vigilant now.

Contrary to the pizzeria brand promise we waited for almost 2 hours for our order. Next the pizza topping was mainly large onion slices so whatever choice you make doesn't matter. Finally they didn't have water available! The Manager is the only reason I am go giving this place 2 stars. He went above and beyond to resolve the double billing problem.

Coldstone section attached to this outlet is the worst! Staff attitude is lack lustre and not helpful. Their products offering is also subpar. The ice cream was frozen solid - think more like freezer burn - and couldn't be scooped so we were forced to accept less than scoop quantities of any flavors that the personal could manage to scrape anything out of for fear of appearing heartless. The waffle cones' taste and texture were wrong - it felt like Garri was added to the mix. We would have left but visited with young children and had to endure to avoid disappointing them but I am certain those kids won't want a repeat...

The first time I went, I was with my brother and so I didn't even know the way their customer service is Next time I went alone No one comes to you There's no menu You have to go to the counter and meet someone that's not willing to help you I don't even want to talk of the pizza. They really need to re do their recipe. THIS IS NOT PIZZA. Even if you buy the chicken, it doesn't taste like any chicken pizza. Even if you buy the expensive one The picture isn't like the thing they'll over you It's just hot dough with fresh pepper.. it's like they were rationing the cheese You know what Y'all should reconsider y'all recipe please. You can't spend 9k or more for that kind of thing You can end up waiting till the next morning when you finally get to order. No one tells you your food is ready.. you now have to go the counter and ask.. if its not ready you'll just end up looking like a fool. Their customer service is too bad compared to the amount of money you end up...
