Barcode Station — Restaurant in Edo State

This bar is pretty much new in town; it was the first time I visited and they completely won my hear over. I was completely fascinated by the eco themed outdoor area. They had a great variety of food and drinks on the menu. However, My friend and I had the catfish barbeque and I was truly impressed; It was properly cooked, not overly spiced, and large for its price, wait time was less compared to some places I have been. We didn't get to try out their cocktail drinks as I opted for a regular soda and my friend for a beer. But I'm pretty sure the drinks wouldn't dissappoint either. We were looking for a place with decent music, good food and chilled vibes. Looked around in Google maps for places close to where we were, looked at reviews and decided on this place. I like it. There was a hype man. DJ was good. The place wasn't full. I don't know if it wasn't peak period for them. It was a Saturday night. Either we were too early or too late. We were there around 8:30 or so. Left before 11pm I think.

Drinks were cold. Food took longer than they said it would. They said 45mins. Took about 75mins. The food was good enough. The barbeque turkey, the ingredients didn't go in the meat properly but...

I believe this place just recently opened. It's an all outdoor lounge/bar venue with space for dancing and DJ (who plays everything from Afro beats to old school Rnb). A great place to relax with friends, co workers etc. The Chapman had the right kind of spice for liking. It's worth a try. My reason for 4 stars is that I wish the DJ would leave the loud music for later in the evening when guests come to dance.
