Seven Restaurant Benin — Restaurant in Edo State

Went in for a chill dinner and was almost disappointed until their courteous staff, amazing food and fair prices made up for it.

I will totally recommend Seven and I'll definitely go back. They just need to pay more attention to their ambience.

The place looks nice but the ambience wasn't giving intimate dinner vibes (maybe that wasn't their aim). The lights were too bright, there was sand on the floor under my table, the sound system was bad and they were playing Nathaniel Bassey's Christian songs 🤣. The music off me sha. They should invest in the sound and have a curated playlist. It felt like the staff just had anybody connect Bluetooth and play whatever.

The digital menu was clunky and unhelpful. They can revamp it and have images by the orders at least. It was so hot at some point, AC was off and they had to turn one noisy Fan thingy towards us to help.

This review is basically a note to the management. You have an awesome thing going, just pay more attention to the experience and Seven will be perfect.

Also, it had the wrong address on Google maps and it was difficult to find. Walking upstairs didn't have railings too. Unsafe.

The place is a beautiful and serene place to hangout and dine with a loved one. It has a nature theme decor which is lovely for taking pictures. The hyped dish, Alfedo pasta was just not for me. It is a cheesy dish with a very mild taste which greatly contrasts with my taste for spicy dishes. Also, cockroaches ran out from the cultery napkins that were provided. The service staff was very apologetic and easy to talk to which was great for controlling the damage...
