Lamelo Restaurant — Restaurant in Garki I

I accidentally stumbled across this place while actually looking for another restaurant in the area. I decided I'd give it a go since I was hungry and couldn't locate the other place. The food was pretty good for it was and it was very fresh. Everything I picked on the menu just so happened to be "finished" which was annoying so I asked them to recommend what they have. I chose semonvita with ogbono and it was freshly made. The semo was soft and hot while the ogbono was fresh and full of different types of meat. The interior could really use a lift though, from the outside you'd even think they were closed because the lights aren't turned on. Likewise the inside has a dullness to it that is made worse by the smell of wood smoke which makes the entire place feel really stuffy. Other than that it was actually a pretty okay place. The Restaurant is situated in a really cool environment, the bar side which they have with games is a really good place with nice ambience to have fun But it was the Restaurant we visited chairs arrangements was so cool. Nice thing is that the founder created the Restaurant having the mind of bridal showers and low key events to take place at the place reason, they have some bowls or platter serving pattern. The food we had was so lovely, I couldn't even finish the medium bowl of food. The smoothie was lit, prices are relatable. Just that the waiter/staff that attended to us didn't do well, dropped the menu and left. No explanation as to what it entails and having to know about a particular item(s) we had to go to and fro...

So we(oops, actually someone recommended )found this new spot in Gwarinpa. Quite cozy, inexpensive & good music. You know we are always on a budget, this spot gives us two vibes; fast food & standard restaurant, so it can be a go to place for a date, friends & family hang outs.
