The Maryland Mall, popularly called the ‘Big Black Box’ due to its outer covering, is a mall which is poised to give you a wholesome shopping experience of international standard. This mall houses over 40 shops, 4 cinema screens, bars, restaurants, a food court as well as a wide parking space. Its strategic location, interior ambience, and exterior outlook are sure to give you a relaxing feel as well as amaze when you visit this Mall. This Mall which sits over a land mass of 7,700sqm is the first mall in Nigeria to have an underground park, and its location also witnesses a traffic flow of not less than 5000 cars hourly. One striking thing about this mall is that it is not too expensive to shop at this mall and it offers you a plethora of options when it comes to restaurants. Another highlight of the Maryland Mall is the fact that the interior of the Mall looks the same both at Day and at Night, as the internal lighting is supplied artificially. In other words, the black cloth covering the Mall limits natural light...

About 100 of us gathered here to throw a surprise birthday party for our friend in August, 2025. The ambience was nice. We enjoyed their small chops. Everything was going well until it was time to serve food. Waiters would take our orders and go about other businesses until you get their attention, then they apologize and ask you to repeat your order. They insisted that the only protein they had to serve us was goat meat. We were left with no option but to accept it. Apparently, they had spoilt goat meat which they didn't want to waste, so they rather served all of us spoilt meat which literally had no taste. The food was 3/10. Then they keep talking over your food while serving, without a face mask. When we went downstairs, we noticed the customers there had different proteins like chicken, grilled fish etc but they chose us to eat their spoilt goat meat. Their toilet is very neat.
