However, I’m giving it just one star for the atmosphere because there were too many staff members standing around doing nothing. Their idle presence actually disrupted the environment and increased the risk of cross-contamination with the already exposed food. Shockingly, one of the staff was using a Vicks inhaler directly on her nose while attending to customers—completely unhygienic.

Ordering, Packaging, and Payment: The process felt chaotic—more like a crowded garage market than a well-organized restaurant. There were too many servers, which only added to the confusion.

Parking Experience: The parking situation is both frustrating and poorly managed. After ordering and sitting down to eat, I was interrupted mid-meal and asked to move my car because someone else needed to pull out or pull in. This was after I had parked where I was directed to by the security or parking attendants, with no prior warning of this inconvenience.

Takeout Experience: I ordered some takeout, but when I got home, I realized the food was incomplete. I called to complain and was told to bring my receipt back. When I got there, I found the server, explained the situation, and handed her my receipt. Instead of addressing my complaint, she began chatting with other servers about me, ignoring me completely. Eventually, she came back and claimed everything was packed, which I knew wasn’t true. I asked for a manager, who finally came and asked me to sit down. I explained I couldn’t wait because I had guests at home waiting for the food and an important immigration appointment. He still made me wait another 15 minutes. I asked for him again, and this time I was taken to an office to watch CCTV footage for another 20 minutes while my phone kept ringing with calls about the food and my missed appointment. Worst meal I had eaten in any eatery in Ikorodu. Precisely 26th November 2023. The Fried rice was an apology; extremely soft and the taste was nothing to write home about.

The egusi soup was and the Fufu were the ONLY perfect meal that made head from what we bought.

The Gbegiri and ewedu soup has literally become like water about 20mims after purchase as this was close home. Someone asked me to try it so I took my family there. Wished I didn't.
