Cafe @ No. 8 — Restaurant in Kwara State

As a remote worker, this was a pretty decent spot for a work day out. The location is central and quite easy to find, and the ambience is great. There’s always some music playing, but not so loudly that you can’t hear yourself think.

The food was great both times I visited, although it took forever to be ready my second time around. I also didn’t like that the staff made my glass of juice right at the bar, and I could hear all the complaining about what ingredients management hadn’t yet supplied, and who didn’t put what in the fridge as ordered (AND noise from the blender). I think it would make for a better experience if there was a kitchen area out of customer earshot where all that can happen.

Loved the variety on their menu. Depending on what you order, it can get quite pricey, but it’s not unreasonable for the quality of the service you get, in my opinion.

Overall, a nice place to get some work done, or have a cozy second date, or just hang with friends....
