T&K Restaurant — Restaurant in Kwara State

That was my first time in this restaurant....

Oops, I forgot to take pictures.

The place is homely, they have varieties of food, I was surprised to see they sell swallow there.

They have different foods that look inviting in their show glass, you can check what you want to eat and make a decision on the spot.

Their staff are well-trained and welcoming.

I was surprised to see wristwatches at the entrance. Master of many businesses, they sell wristwatches and stuff too. And yes, their food is delicious, muah!

I got pounded yam and egusi+meat and their egusi has a lot of orisirisi (assorted) innit.

And yes, their prices are average, though it depends on your pocket though. You can eat there and they offer takeaway as well, and you can even go with your plate.

It's a great place with good ambience .

I ordered pounded yam again and now confirmed it's really pounded and not poundo yam, it was so delicious that I wanted more.

Next time you visit Ilorin, ensure you try the pounded yam and Egusi soup at T&K restaurant alomg University of Ilorin road, Tanke.

That's great though, I wish T&K more customers. Keep it up

19/8/2024 I bought swallow with Ogbono soup, I guess that was my greatest mistake today. It had a weird taste. I had to eat my swallow with the soap I had at home. Imagine being my first time to try your Ogbono, and it was bad. I had to some of my swallow alone.

I know it happens once a while though, which is normal but I don't think I will try your Ogbono again, who knows? That taste won't leave Mmy tongue and I had to take dry gaari to mask it.

Thanks for changing my notion about Ogbono...

Good restaurant, awesome ambience. Please stay away from the jollof rice. Order any other food, they are awesome but please never order the jollof rice. It is unnaturally coloured with an almost pink look. My sister's friends couldn't stand it when we all went out. I wish they ordered eba like I did because it was great.
